  Ringplatz -winter 2010 -much snow.
   There are bigger squares in town - the Austriaplatz is one.
    There are nicer squares - the Fischplatz with the Theatre is one.
    But this was the hub.
     Here the two axial roads intersected . The south -north and the
east -west.
      Here the tram had its central stop and the conductor would call :
      "Ringplatz -austeigen ".
      Here was the Corso where young people would meet.
      Here was the Fiaker stop were the drivers were looking for a fare.
      Here was the Rathaus and news stand and the public toilet.
      Here was the memorial to the glory of the periodically changing
regimes.
      Here were the best hotels and restaurants.
      Here Salo met Beno on a daily basis.
