Fellow List Members,
Today I found an old cassette tape on which were two interviews I conducted
in 1981. They were two nieces of my grandfather (Harry DORF). Although
they were his nieces, they were close to his age.
They mentioned a few places, I wonder if the list is familiar with. I
believe they must all be in close proximity to Czernowitz.
They are Radivitz, Kitzman, Horendanka, and Yur-ko-vitz (sp?).
I am of course familiar with Horedenka. Could Radivitz be Raduti? Could
Kitzman be Kotzman.
The last one, which my mother's cousin described as a little dorf ( a small
village), Yurkovitz, I am particularly interested in, because evidently
this is the place which gave my great grandfather his name.
Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
