From "The Day" out of Kiev, it is the story of how the village of
Ispas saved 100 Jews from certain death during WWII. The term
"Righteous Among The Nations" is used, but it's not clear if they are
referring to the Yad-Vashem award by this name, or to a recognition
by the International Tolerance Foundation as mentioned at the end of
the article.
Congratulations to the Righteous of Ispas. You can see Ispas on this
map, a bit northeast of Kuty and Wiznitz, west of Czernowitz.
