[Cz-L] Workcamp by SVIT Ukraine

Dear Czernowitzers,

SVIT Ukraine confirmed and already published this year's workcamp for cleaning the Jewish cemetery of Czernowitz. It will take place from 10th to 27th of August. The age for international volunteers is restricted from 18 to 76. As there is only a basic funding volunteers have to cover the travel expenses by themselves. Accommodation, food and lectures are free.

As already posted some weeks ago also Aktion Sühnezeichen Friedensdienste will have a workcamp in Czernowitz from 24th of July to 7th of August this year. More Information: http://www.asf-ev.de/fileadmin/asf_upload/sommerlager/SoLa10_vorlaeufigesProgramm091120.pdf

So far we can be sure about two upcoming workcamps this year. Both organizations, SVIT as well as Aktion Sühnezeichen, plan in long terms to continue this efforts. There might be a third workcamp if the application of SVIT Ukraine, SCI Rumania and other SCI branches to the youth in action program of the European Union is successful. I will keep you informed.
