[Cz-L] Carte de identitate

This was the most coveted document in war time Czernowitz.
  Without it you didnt exist.
  It had your picture ,name ,adress and 3 numbers :
 1. Of the permit to stay in town.
 2. Of the census certificate
 3. I.D. number
  No birth date.
   And a remark : The loss of this document annuls the permit of stay in
town. As simple as that
   It was a piece of cardboard appr. 10 x 8 cm.
    To have it or have it not ,this was the question.
    I dont know how many lost this card and how many were deported
therefore.
    You better had it.
