Hi to those asking about the best way to get to CZ:
I have been there many times and the seasons play a big part in my plans.
If it is Spring/Summer into Fall then the planes from Kiev to CZ are
flying and this is always the faster and most comfortable. I take the cheapest
flight I can find to Kiev and then SVIT to CZ. However, it is important to
note that the SVIT flights are not always happening every day. Without
proper planning, you can get to Kiev and have to wait until the next day for
a flight to CZ (which then involves staying in a hotel in Kiev which can be
very pleasant to say the least, if you are not on a strict budget) Also
know that once you get to the airport in Kiev, you need (physically) take
your baggage to another building to get on a domestic flight to CZ. It is not
always easy to get a luggage cart so make sure that you can handle, on your
own, all the baggage that you bring. (there are baggage carts but it
seems that a lot of arriving passengers are natives arriving from other
counties with tons of luggage for their family/friends and they grab up all the
carts like they are professionals at this)

On other occasions (like winter) I have flown, usually with LOT to Livov
(Liviv) and have a rented driver waiting for me to take me on the long ride
to CZ (I think about 2-3 hours? don't remember exactly) The road is slow
going but takes you through the villages so you get to see the area (I am
always prepared for "bush stops" rather than poorly maintained
toilets/outhouses) Also, know that if you return by car to Livov the driver needs to be
sure that he knows the way! There are some serious turns that have to be
made (without airport signs) and my driver almost got me to the airport too
late for my flight)

Hope this helps ....ask more questions anytime
Shabbat Shalom
Cora
