[Cz-L]Temple singer

As I approach the Temple my anger rises.
  People go in and out of the foyer, buy tickets , use the ATM ,
  buy things .
   This makes me mad .
    I try to argue , I say that this is a holy place and that Joseph Schmidt
    the famous singer prayed here but all is in vain , they dont
    understand..
       In despair I try to demonstrate - I start singing one of Schmidt's
      favorites : "Ein Lied geht um die Welt"....
        Suddenly they seem to understand - people stop , make a circle,
      somebody takes his hat off and starts collecting money.

      They take me for a singing beggar !
       Some advise me that with my voice I wont get very far.
          Humiliated I leave the place.
