[Cz-L] 1936 Directories now on Ehpes in HTML format

I have converted Edgar Hauster's 1936 Czernowitz directories into HTML
pages which are accessible through your browser. Since there are over
30,000 datasets, I have split the file into two sections A-K and L-Z.

They take a while to load as they are very large files even when split.

The main advantage of HTML pages is that you do not have to have
Microsoft EXCEL to look at the data, only your web browser. So, if you
know how to search a page for a particular word or surname, you can use
your normal browser search function to find what you're looking for.

For example in Internet Explorer, on the top tool bar, choose Edit, and
then from the drop down menu, click on Find (on this page) and enter
your search term in the dialog box).

A secondary advantage that Edgar and I discussed is that the web bots
that index everything on the web can find the surnames in these HTML
files but cannot in the Excel format as it is encoded.

The disadvantage is the large file size and the time it takes to load.
But once it loads the first time, the next time will be much quicker.

You can access the Directories from the Menu on the left side of the
home page: Click on '1898/1909/1914/1936 City Directories..' and look
for the 1936 directories on the splash page.
