I too was in the Yiddish school No 18 from 1945-1946. Was anyone else
from our CZ. list in that school?
What grade were you in? I was in 6th grade. Among our teachers were
the Segal brothers, Mr. Weitzman, and the PE instructor, Mr.
Stanger Do you happen to have any pictures from that time?

Corner Landhaus - Turkengasse was secondary school No 3.
   Yiddish boy school in 1944.
   One year later it was closed because of lack of pupils.
     Because of jewish mass emigration .
   We moved to No 18 school on Siebenburgerstrasse
     together with the girls ,whose school also closed.
     In 1946 this too came to an end.
     The curtain fell on Jewish Czernowitz.
     What went on was Jewish Chernivtsi .
