Dear Mr Katz.
My wife and I are going to Czernowitz and Bershad at the end of next Month.
Could you please send me the e-mail address or the postal address if they have no e mail. I too am looking for birth certificates and some other information.
We lived in Jucica Veke just across the river Prut from Czernowitz there was a Morris Katz that had a large Lumber business, he was related to a Mr. Rosenberg they lived in adjacent house. I don't know to much more I was only 12 years old when we left Jucica for Transnistria.
But just in case you think there is a connection feel free to call me any time, we live in Manhattan.
