Avigdor Aricha, a famous painter, died yesterday in Paris at age 81.
He was a resident of Bukovina, a member of the Dlugacz family (His
grandfather Nachman Dlugacz was my great grandfather and is buried in
Cernowitz (or Radautz?)).
If you Google him , you will be able to find a series of pictures which he
drew as a child in the camps in Transnistria, which were the beginning of
his art career.
