About my spelling mistake:

Unfortunately "spellcheck" does not correct differences of meaning. Luckily
it corrects all other spelling mistakes, otherwise you would all know how
bad my spelling really is.

By the time I was 10years old, I had been taught German, Yiddish, Romanian,
French, Hungarian and Hebrew. English came much later. No wonder I do not
know most of these languages and cannot spell correctly in any of them.

By the way, after the Russian troops came the Russian troupes. I remember
seeing in the Czernowitz theatre, then called the Ukrainian theatre,
musicians, dancers, clowns and choirs, all very good artists.
The theatre and the performances I watched in it, in 1944 and 45, made a
huge impression on me. Last summer, when I was in Czernowitz, I wanted to
show the interior to my granddaughter. With the help of Dr. Bursuk, I was
able to do so and to my great pleasure, it still looks now just as beautiful
and elegant as it did 65 years ago.
