Possibly I am asking for information which has already been given in a
previous message to this list, if so forgive me.
Who is having the Korn Shil reconstructed? I would like to know who's
initiative it is, who is paying for the reconstruction and who is
supervising it?
Also, will it be used as a synagogue again?

As to the latest in technology, the Parthenon, the Pantheon and many other
great buildings were constructed by means which we would now consider
primitive. In my opinion, using a tire to keep a round opening in the wall
open, shows initiative and inventiveness, much faster than building a round
frame to keep the wall from collapsing.
