Not only did all the boys want to be Percy Stuart, but all of Czernowitz
thought that "Kleider machen die Menschen" (clothes make the man).
The clothes you wore, showed your good taste, degree of sophistication,
wealth and "Kultur".
I wonder what they would have thought of torn jeans, T-shirts and sneakers.
