[Cz-L] Going to Czernowitz in July or August

Dear Czernowitzers,

as I heared some of you intend to visit Czernowitz in summer; some of you will participate in the workcamps of Aktion Sühnezeichen and SVIT Ukraine - some plan a trip independent from that. From my view it is very important that the young volunteers who will join the workcamps get in touch with the former Czernowitzers. It helps them to understand the mission and importance of their work and keeps Czernowitz and it's lessons in the mind of people.

If you go to Czernowitz in July or August and do not join one of the workcamps by yourself please take the chance to meet the volunteers and tell them about the past of your hometown, share your memories with them and let them feel that their work is welcome. Speaking from the experience of the last two summers: You have the chance to meet very nice young people.

SVIT Ukraine will be in Czernowitz from 10th to 27th of August, Aktion Sühnezeichen from 25th of July to 5th of August. If you like me to bring you in touch with one or both of this organizations please send me a note.

I will be in Czernowitz from 14th to 19th of August to support SVIT and will travel via Lemberg/Lviv. If somebody likes to meet me or share the train from Lemberg to Czernowitz I will be very glad if you do so.
