I never knew the Rumanian names of the streets although I lived Lupescu, and
Muikulici Gasse and my Family in Stefan cel Mare, I suppose they had no
other K.andK. names. At home we spoke German only and Rumanian I used at
school and studies but never as a means of communications with my friends.
We spoke "wie uns der Schnabel gewachsen war"(the way our beak was grown, as
birds, I guess, mother's tongue)
The best translation can think of, which was German.
