I am doing research on the Ebner Family for my wife. Isak Ebner was born in
Czernowitz, Austria <abt. 1852> and married Yetta Fraenkel (they
eventually had 13 children). I confirmed Isak as Yetta as being the GGF and
GGM, of my wife. Jakob Ebner was also born in Czernowitz <abt ??>, and
eventually married a Machle Fraenkel (the picture I have shows them as
having at least 7 children). Another Fraenkel (Zigmund), eventually married
one of Jakob's daughters (Mali (or Amalia)). This is my question to
everyone; Does anyone know if Isak and Jakob were related in any way??
When I look at both families, and see the names Ebner and Fraenkel, I would
think the brothers could possibly be related? Or is it just a strange
coincidence?
