Hardy,

thank you for the picture which shows a part of the house where I grew up (first on the left side).
The house ones belonged to Dr. Anhauch, who's family lived in Storozynets.
His niece, if I remember it correctly, Antonia Zappler, was a friend of my Grandma and
"vacationed" with her in Kazakhstan, where to they have been deported.
She returned with my grand parents to Czernowitz and moved with them into an appartment in this building,
just because someone offered an apartment there.
She lost her whole family, only 3 cousins survived, one in New York, one in Tel Aviv and one in Melbourne,
which whom she was in mail contact after they found each other. She died in our apartment.
