Dear all,

Today is 28th June. On this date, seventy years ago, the Soviets invaded
our beloved home city and Northern Bukovina + Bessarabia. Whether these
territories were really included in the map originally agreed upon under the
Molotov - Ribbentrop pact is still not 100% clear. As a result of this, the
Jüdische Kultusgemeinde was abolished and all Jewish institutions closed
down. Everything was expropriated and brought under authorities' control.
Very sad indeed.

Abraham K.
