Sounds fantastic. To those of you who have never tasted wild strawberries:
Cultivated strawberries cannot duplicate their taste or smell.
Wild strawberries grow mostly in pine and fir forests and the fruit ripens
in June. Plan your trip to the Cvarpahians accordingly.
If you live in a continental climate, you can grow them in your own garden
under a pine tree. I have maintained the same patch for over 30 years.
