It is pretty strange that there was another Simon Neuman from Storojinetz...this was the name of my late father until he became Simon Weininger, when he had to pass his graduation examination because his grand-parents were only religiously married...

My father, Simon Neuman (Shimshon Berel ben Yosel) came from
Storozhinetz; his parents were Malka and Yosel Neuman. He had an aunt
by the name of Nusia Burg-Holinger. Koka Holinger Weis returned from
Transnistria to Czernowitz and was unable to leave until the 60's when
she came to Israel with her 3 daughters and lived and worked in Cholon
until her passing, in 2006.
