I confirm: my father Simon Rosner, called my mother Rosa Wagner <Maederl>
till the end. Nobody else was allowed to call her <Maederl> And she, as well
as all their friends, called my father <Bumerl>.
And, now that this is mentioned, I realize that I went the same way: I
remember always starting with a <Bonsoir les filles, comment ça va?> when I
came back home from work and my ex was there with some of her friends...
Maybe that, in saying this, I thought of myself as a <garçon>, a boy?
Regards,
Charles
