Hi everyone,

So far as I know, there are no related Kulas in Montreal, but the suggestion
is a good one, and I will follow up. I may have mentioned in an earlier
message that the Kula family business was "agribusiness", and the family
owned a huge agricultural estate that was served by many peasants. Many of
them adopted the practice of taking the family name of the estate, and at
one time I would get calls from all sorts of Kulas who had no connection
except possibly that.

Having said this, it still remains that I only know of one Kula
contemporary, a pharmacist Norbert Kula, and it seems improbable to me that
there would be such a small family at that time.
