[Cz-L] History - evidence

Dear all,

Here is an interesting evidence concerning the wanderings of our forefathers from western Europe to the east::

My paternal grandmother, Hendel Rosner, was born in Kuty to the Pfau family.

I found a "Grundplan der Judengasse im Jahre 1711" in Dr. Aexander Dietz' book: "Stammbuch der Frankfurter Juden.... 1349 - 1849", and there, not far from the house named "Rotes Schield" are two houses , one called "goldener Pfau", and next to it, a house called "Pfau".

I try to imagine to myself the images of those two peacocks, adorning my ancestors homes in Frankfurt: One golden and the other - as colorful as a rainbow!
