Dear all,
Instead of trying to find a right description of the language we spoke in
Cz
here is a story on the issue:
During the war a column of Jews was being led by a german guard
in the fields of the Ukraine.
Suddenly a Jew spots a chicken in the fields beyond and starts
shouting:
" Herr Offizier ,hier geht an Of !"
      Of is Yiddish is chicken.
The guard looks and says : " Sei doch nicht doof , wie kommt ein Aff'
denn
her , sind wir in Afrika?"
( Dont be silly ,how does a monkey find its way here ? )
Affe or Aff' in Plattdeutsch sounds Of .
Now we can revert finding names for the German we so proudly spoke :
       Atrocious ,horrible, horrific or more.
The adjective has no importance .
Hardy
