Charles and other Cz-List members: This is the first reference to
Zaleszcsyki (sp?) that I remember seeing in our discussions, and I am
heartened to think that some of you may know what happened to its
residents during the two WW's. Spare no details; I am prepared for
the worst, as I realize that the Jews of Galicia were at least as
badly treated as those in Czernowitz. Have you found any records of
survivors? Do the names Gross and/or Fischbach bring back memories of
any of your family's friends, relatives or neighbors from there? My
paternal grandmother was born in Z, and these are her parents' surnames.
