The Segal brothers were middle aged and not married , beloved
 by everyone, very good teachers.
The younger one was teaching physics and his nickname was Toder.
    Always bare headed.
The elder was teaching math and his nickname was Metre Kapeliuch
    or in short Metre.
He always wore a pointed pilgrim hat and his nickname came from it.
Metre Kapeliuch meaning a meter tall hat.
They had, of course ,private names but they were irrelevant to us.
For us it was Toder and Metre.
             Hardy
