[Cz-L] Bukowina Censuses for the Years 1869, 1880, 1890 and 1900

Czernowitzers...

As a courtesy of Dr. Alois Gehart, head of the historical archives and the library of Statistics Austria (http://www.statistik.at/web_en/) in Vienna, I've got the complete data for the Bukovina censuses for the years 1869, 1880, 1890 and 1900, which I uploaded to my Czernowitz blogspot website:

I think the data are quite interesting, despite the fact that the original forms don't exist any more, but however we have now facts and figures in clear manner. Of course you'll find there data for each and every district, community, locality and
estate in Bukovina. There are much more data included in the censuses (religion,
language, schools, etc.), but for this purpose you will have to study the
abbrevations and explanations for the signs and symbols very carefully.

BTW, Jerome and - of course - Bruce, the abbrevations and explanations are now included and translated to English (see pdf files). Do you think, it may be useful to upload these data to the Ehpes website?
