Farjimjet- much simpler explanation.
   Noise in Ukrainean is "shum" . In Yiddish "shim"
    Farjimjet - Farshimjet means ovecome with noise.

It should be read like " j" in Jim. It seems to me of onomatopoeic
orgin, that is, it repeats the noise it tries to express, d portraying
the unclear noise in the head.
