[Cz-L] Praise of this list

Recently, in a letter to this list, I mentioned that for one year 1940 -
1941, my family and I lived on the Blumengasse.
A few hours later, I had Email from Ruth Gold asking me whether I knew the
Laufer family on the Blumengasse. The name rang a bell, I remembered the
name, but was not sure whether from the Blumengasse or somewhere else.
I had lived at the Blumengasse between the age of 3 and 4.
I asked Ruth whether the Laufer family lived at the corner of the street, at
number 2. She responded that they did and that she visited them every
Sunday.

Is this not "Nissim, Nissim ve-Neflues" that after 70 years, we meet on the
internet!

All thanks to Bruce Reisch. Who probably is my distant cousin.
