Is anyone familiar with the artist Bernard Reder? There is a woodcut of his
on ebay. His bio says he was born in Cz in 1897, moved to Paris, was helped
by the artist Maillot to escape the Nazis in 1940, went to Spain, then Cuba,
then the US. He died in the 1960's. His work is apparently in many
collections and museums, including the Whitney and MOMA in New York. There's
a lot more info on Wikepedia.
