you tell some very moving stories!!

My mother told a similar story regarding my sister who was about five/six
years old at the time...I think we were in Tulcin....I was only two or thre=
e
and too young to take care of myself and would have been too much of a
burden for my sister. At the last minute she too started to cry and cry and
our mother relented and let her stay...she told that in the beginning the
other people in the camp scorned her, said that she was an unmensch to have
been able to save her child and not to do it - later to find out the
horrible fate of the other children....
