I had a brother who lived in Lod.Who told me that when Arab properties are
appropriated the former owners are amply
compensated. The owners are not murdered or sent to Transnistria. Again I find
this comparison extraordinary.
You mean to tell us that we have abrogated our right to question how the
Ukrainian authorities dispose and account for the
Jewish properties. It sounds like finders keeper. Jews the weepers.
When I wanted to see our home I asked the new posesor to allow me to enter for
one moment so as an adult I could see
where I lived through my childhood. I was told in no uncertain terms that I had
no right to such courtesie. Pashly (go)
The same scenario was at the house belonging to my grandparents and uncle in the
Franzosgasse.
I asure you it was done in a polite way not to offend. We did not asked for it
to be returned.
