[Cz-L] Yiddish is alive on the Ehpes Blog!

Czernowitzers....

I just had a look at the Blog and there it was: The lead-off discussion
for Yiddish affectionados from Isidoro! I hope all who are interested in
the continuing 'general discussion' about Yiddish will take the time to
read it and comment on it at: http://ehpes.com/blog1

Just to be clear, if your post concerns Czernowitz and Yiddish, it
should still go to the list. Or it could go to both the list and blog.
It's not our intention to strip the list of discussion about Yiddish -
far from it.

And of course, this is your invitation to sign up for the blog. Just
send:

2. Your email address
3. A log-on name that you will be known by
4. A password (something easy to remember)
and I will register you and email you back that I have done so.

Note, you can read the blog without signing up; you can comment on
Isidoro's post (or any other post) without signing up; but you can't
post a new message (change the thread) if you don't sign up. The blog is
unmoderated and occasionally we get comments from outside our group.

I've asked Isidoro to keep translating the Yiddish so that folks like me
can improve their Yiddish, but it's not mandatory. As a matter of fact,
nothing is mandatory and nothing is moderated except that true meanness
of spirit and nastiness will not be tolerated.
