Hello,
in Yiddish the Synagogengasse was called the Schilgass and we always
called it by its Yiddish name. Our family prayed in the Moishev Zkenim
Schil, in the basement of the Senior's Home "Moishev Zkeinim, located
in the court of the Groisse Shil. At my visit in 2009, the building
was still standing, but was empty. I had the impression that it was
due for demolition.
