A propos "If there was no........and if we lived in Cz. today...." etc.
This reminds what the boys used to say in Cz:
"Wen mayn Babe wot gehat reider wot sie gedawent far dem Umed". Rough
translation (I hope Hardy could improve it): "If my grandmother had wheels,
she would have been a cantor in the synagogue".

     The majority, anyhow.
     The Holocaust made us partners sharing the same fate.
       And the same memories.
