   Maybe no big shame in Anatevka , but in Czernowitz it was .
    A low class poor Czernowitzer did all he could to conceal his status.
      This was not easy as Czernowitz was not so big.
        The rich people didn't know all the poor people but they knew all
the rich.
         Which is about the same.
