Explanation: Cariera de Piatra
The territory between the rivers Dniester and Bug was named Transnistria and this is where the Romanian expelled the Jews from Bukovina, to places like Mogilev and Bershad. The Romanians left the Jews there to die of typhoid, exposure and hunger.
The area across the Bug River was German territory and the worst place was Cariera de Piatra. There they used the Jews for slave labor. Very few people returned after liberation from there. If the Jews did not die of exhaustion, typhoid or starvation they were shot by the Germans.

Translation of the curse:
a mapule zol zai alle trefen!'
Mapule is difficult to translate, it comes from Hebrew "Mapala" which means "defeat or downfall"
"They should all meet a downfall" is the curse. In Yiddish it sound so much better.
