Rosch and Manasteriska were two adjacent suburbs, separated by the
Klokutschka Bach, a small rivulet. My father was born in Manasteriska,
as were the parents and grandparents of a number of members of this list.
They were the poor Jews who could not afford to live in Czernowitz itself.
Their children went to school with the German children from Rosch.
