Dear Dganit,

This burial site was found in both the burial register (Parcel 7
plots 116 and 117) and in the indexing project based on tombstone
photos taken of nearly the entire Czernowitz Jewish Cemetery. The
stone is located in what is now known as Area 57 which corresponds to
old Parcel 7. The photo that I will send to you separately tells us
that the tombstone was carved by "B. Reder" (Bernard Reder), who was
to become a very famous artist and about whom our group has had much
discussion.

Best wishes,

Bruce Reisch
