I did live at Stefaniegasse #5; but, since I was a child and did not consume huge quantities of spirits, I do not remember the building. I think the building we lived in was eventually converted to a hospital.

Old wall shield reads : Mare deposit de bauturi spirituoase
which means as much as: Big store of alcoholic beverages.
Left-over from other times. Overpainted but survived.
The overpaint vanished - the old paint persisted.
They used premium paint these old timers.
Can anybody identify ,trace location ?
We look for an : old -time - Stefaniestreet dweller-
big quantity alcohol consumer.
( In German all this can be written in one word .)
