The Transilvania Story.
In 1948 Rumania became communist and Zionist organizations forbidden.
Instead communist organisations came into being among them the CDE
Comitetul Democratic Evreesc.
They took over all Zionist organization clubs by force.
Their leaders were many jewish communist among them Bercu Feldman.
Then they a had a genial idea (see Anna Pauker and 100,000
certificates).
If a great number of communist jews came to Israel , this would
make Israel communist by democratic election.
With Israel the whole middle east would become red.
So jews were drafted into the communist party , got a Party card ,
and solemnly promised to adhere to the Israeli communist party.
For this they got a one-way-ticket Constanta - Haifa on the MV
Transilvania..
This ship did weekly rounds for two years.
Strangely , Israel did not become red much to the dismay of Bercu
Feldman.
