HOW INTERESTING.
I was also on the MV Transylvania in about July or August 1947.
We went through the Bosphorus and to Haifa but the Brits kept us out the po=
rt and at a good distance. They constantly patroled around the Ship
We went to NAPLES=A0 and then to Marseille.By train Marseille to Paris. We =
were in Paris almost a year before getting the visa to Ecuador.

I was the same age as Lydia when we left on the Transilvania in January '48=
 hoping to disembark in Haifa, except the Brits. were there so we ended up =
in Naples, DP camps in Milano and eventually in Australia.
I too enjoyed my 'cruise'!
