I've seen a picture of this gentleman in my mother's album. Unfortunately
it's in NY but he's sitting at an easel in front of a house and painting. I
always took notice of this picture because of the interesting man with the
long beard who is not in any other pictures. I remember asking Mom why she
had a picture of a man painting. Fortunately she's here to ask the question
again. Apparently he was a cousin. She wasn't sure which side. My
grandmother's maiden name was Regina Goldenberg, her father was Benjamin
Goldenberg. Anna, my great grandmother is buried in the Czernowitz. My
grandfather's family was the Gedaly family.
As soon as I get back to NY I'll retrieve that picture and scan it and post
on the list.
This list always brings such great surprises.
