[Cz-L] European Volunteer for Czernowitz

Dear Czernowitzers,

the Polish national agency of the European "youth in action" program approved a proposal of SVIT Ukraine to have a long time volunteer in the framework of the European Volunteer Service in Czernowitz. Karoline Koziura, a young Polish lady who already joined twice the workcamps of SVIT and who wrote her master thesis on the Jewish cemetery, will be in Czernowitz for 9 month from May on. This will be a big support for all activities on the Jewish cemetery as preparing the upcoming workcamp, making sure that herbicides are used or projects with locals are encouraged.

Aktion Sühnezeichen Friedensdienste already has a long time volunteer who works for the Jewish Museum in the former Jewish National House.
