[Cz-L] Bucharest 1946

Bucharest 1946.
We were American-crazy.
  After escaping the Soviets we wanted to see Americans.
   In Bucharest Americans could be seen in pictures or live
   at the Excelsior Hotel on Academiei str. were the ACC
( Allied Control Commission) was housed.
    American army personell were coming and going boarding
american cars ant talking English.
   We came to look or go into the nearby Luxor cinema for
seeing the latest Rita Hayworth movie.
  In the intermissions we heard american music of the new
   american singer Frank Sinatra.
