Although I have personally replied to all those who sent Fischbach
names and information to me, I want to broadcast to one and all that
the Czernowitz List remains an unsurpassed source of support for the
challenging pursuit of family research and a unique resource for
Bukovina historical and cultural education. Thanks to all who take
the time to respond so fully to even the smallest inquiry or opinion.
I continue to be amazed by the List's forthright dialogue, the
constructive and respectful use of humor, and the seemingly
inexhaustible stream of photos and videos from years past and
present. A love of place creates the "ties that bind". What a treasure.
