Dear All,

Josef Zissels, deserves thanks and praise for financing and establishing the
Jewish Museum in Chernivtsi. He has his own reasons for not wanting to
enlarge the section about the Holocaust, I do not completely agree with him.
Many of us, who have experienced the Holocaust, or who are the children and
grandchildren of the victims, think that the Holocaust should be given
greater prominence in the museum and on the museum website.

There is a saying: If the mountain will not come to Mohammed,
Mohammed has to go to the mountain.
In this case, if the organizers of the Jewish museum in Chernivtsi will not
enlarge the section about Holocaust as it affected the Jews of Czernowitz
and Bukovina, nor mention the Holocaust on the museum's website, I suggest,
we set up a section about this subject on the "ehpes" website, or on a
website dedicated just to this subject.

Deeds speak louder than words,

Mimi
