Dear Hardy, Jerome and members of the Cz.-List,

First I would like to thank Jerome for his willingness to set up a
section on Ehpes, about the Holocaust as it affected the Jews of
Czernowitz and Bukovina.
Hardy, you say we are a museum, You mean like dynosaurs? If so, I would
answer, not quite yet. There certainly is a lot of material about the
holocaust dispersed among various topics, on the Ehpes website. What I
suggest we do,
is that we set up a section which is specifically about the holocaust.
Within this section there could be a number of subsections, such as:

1. Facts and figures taken from reliable sources.
2. Testimonials and memories of survivors.
3. Photographs pertinent to the events of that period.
4. Existing memorials, mass graves and maps pertaining to the Holocaust
   in Czernowitz and Bukovina.

The material already on Ehpes can be sorted and filed under these or
similar subsections and all of us could search for material we may
have, but have not sent to Ehpes, so far.

I am sorry that I cannot volunteer to be the person to collect and sort
all the material, but hope that somone among us, will be willing to do
this work.

Mimi
