[Cz-L] Can anyone help Edward Kaminski?

Dear Czernowitzers,

Can anyone help Edward Kaminski?
I just received this message from him:

All I know about my grandfather is that he was born in the Botosani area,
qualified as a doctor and came to Tarnopol to treat a cholera outbreak. He
and his family then stayed in Tarnopol where he died. I understand that
there was a single university in the Botosani region at the time, in
Czerniowce. Is it possible that the archives relating to graduates might
have survived?

Any help you can give me would be most appreciated.
